Set in two diners in Hong Kong and Los Angeles, Vanishing explores a mysterious connection formed across time, space, and culture through a telepathic phone call.
The play is a bold, multimedia journey inviting the audience to ponder the narrative potential of everyday objects: What collective memories do objects and spaces hold? How do we preserve the memories in their tangible forms? As languages and identities dissolve into archetypal placeholders, Vanishing challenges its audience to find meaning in existence through the very objects that define our lives.
